You start from the Hotel Rotwand in the direction of Laives to the Hotel Grüner Baum directly in front of the hiking trail. If you have a friendly request, you can also park your car there. The landlady can of course also provide very good information about the hike.
This hiking trail no. 11 starts opposite the Hotel “Grüner Baum”. The steep path that crosses the newly created Breitenbergstrasse several times leads through shady bush forest to the beautiful double farmstead, the Steinerhöfe (710 m), in about 1.25 hours. A wonderful panoramic view of Laives and the South Tyrolean lowlands reward the effort of the climb. On the now easily accessible route No. 11, which leads through extensive forests along the Tschueggbach, you reach the Wölflhof (1290 m) after about 1.5 hours. From here, path no. 12 leads in approx. 40 minutes to the nice mountain village of Deutschnofen (1355 m) on the high plateau of the Regglberg.
