From the Hotel Rotwand to the 22-kilometer Val Gardena with the famous holiday resorts of St. Ulrich, St. Christina and Wolkenstein. From there you can get to the Alpe di Siusi (perhaps the most beautiful mountain pasture in South Tyrol). Embedded in the Sciliar Nature Park, the plateau offers a magnificent view of the mountains. Photo breaks are compulsory when driving over the Niger Pass and the Lavazé Pass, numerous motifs line the path. – The massif of the Latemar and Rosengarten cannot be overlooked if you drive up through the Val di Fiemme and the Val di Fassa to Canazei. Through the Eggental valley we return to the Hotel Rotwand via Bolzano.

From the Hotel Rotwand you drive via Bolzano to Lana. From there, this tour leads in the direction of Vinschgau to Spondinig, to Prad, Gomagoi, Trafoi to the Stelvio Pass. We follow the turn-off to the Umbrail Pass and continue to Bornio, S. Nicolo, Santa Caterina Valfurva up to the Gavia Pass. The route continues to Ponte di Legno, and downhill over the Tonale Pass, Cuciano, Dirnaro, Malè, Dres, Cagno, Revo, Romallo, Brez and Fondo. The path leads back to Lana via the Gampenjoch. From Lana back via Bozen to the Hotel Rotwand.

Bike Tour Sellaronda-South Tyrol Tour info:

The tour starts in Fiè allo Sciliar. You can get there from the Hotel Rotwand via Bozen towards Seis and Seiseraml. From Völs to Seis and if you want to the Seiseralm (the largest alp in Europe). Then to Castelrotto and into the Holzschnitzertal Val Gardena. Up to the Gardena Pass and into the Val Badia valley to Corvara (mountain pasture stolen from the mountain). On the next pass up to the Passo Campolongo and then down to Arabba. From there, the tour leads up to the Pordoi Pass and into the Fassa Valley to the Passo Fedaia. You drive to Alleghe to Lago di Alleghe. Then up to the next pass: Passo San Pellegrino. Again direction Fassatal and Val di Fiemme and over the Karrerpass to Welschenofen and back to Völs where the tour ends. From there again through Bolzano to the Hotel Rotwand.

Bike tour Belluno-South Tyrol and surroundings Tour info:

The tour runs from Auer via Aldein and Petersberg, then across the Eggental (one of the narrowest valleys in South Tyrol) to Welschenofen. Then you drive over the Karrer Pass and come down to the Fassa Valley. It goes up the Passo S.Pellegrino to Falcade and then into the beautiful Val di Fiemme. The last pass is Passo S. Lugano, which then leads back down to Aldein and then back to Auer and Leifers (Hotel Rotwand).

Die Tour startet vom Hotel Rotwand aus nach Auer und hinein in das Val di Fiemme. Von dort aus startet man über den Passo Rolle, hinuntern nach San Martino über den Passo di Brocon. Mann kommt dan in das atenberaubende Tesinotal und fährt anschliessend wieder hinauf auf den Passo di Manghen und man kommt zurück nach Castello di Fiemme und über Auer wieder richtung Bozen zum Hotel Rotwand.

Biker tour for South Tyrol holidays to Lake Garda Tour info:

The tour starts from the Hotel Rotwand to Appiano on the wine route, from there you drive over the Mendel Pass into the Val di Sole to Lake Molveno. The road continues to Riva del Garda (Lake Garda). From there it goes back via Arco to Lago di Cavodino. Then via Trento you cross Mezzocorona to Tramin (wine village) and through the South Tyrolean Wine Road to Kaltern and Lake Kaltern to the destination Appiano on the Wine Road. From there back home via Bozen to the Hotel Rotwand.
